The Outdoor Lights at Centre Square are bright, and typically run daily (except Sundays) until curfew at Midnight. These lights cause frustration with the residents who are trying to rest in preparation for classes, work, and other activities the next day. We have repeatedly reached out to those in charge, only to be told that they are unwilling and/or unable to change how the lights operate. The offices at Centre Square have determined the best solution for its residents is for us to spend our own money on blackout curtains. In response to being denied an opportunity to come to a compromise, we propose that the lights be terminated at 10PM on Monday through Thursday, Curfew on Friday and Saturday, and continue to remain off on Sundays.
