It has come to my attention that the unofficial bird of Queensland, the 'Ibis' has been overlooked to become the official mascot for Brisbane 2032 Olympic games. 

I believe this bird is the perfect fit. 

I - Inspiring
B - Belonging
I - Inclusion
S - Solidarity

Are these not word associate with the Olympic spirit. 

While I understand they are not a pretty bird you have to agree it’s a quintessential part of what makes Queensland Queensland.

We have learned to live alongside these birds. We have all shared our lunch with them, I mean they did take it forcefully.

It’s look and lack of bright colour haven’t hindered its drive and motivation. It owns the space in which it takes up. It’s taught us that no matter what challenges you may face you can overcome them.

It is such a perfect Olympic mascot. Sometimes you have to look in the most unlikely places to find what you need (IE The Bin)

Let’s not have a boring logo like some Olympic cities have had in the past. The Ibis has so much personality!
