I called the offices of the Senate Education Committee and most of the staff workers said that the bill AB 1771 is still being held in the Senate Education Committee. They said that they didn't know if it would be voted on today, August 26. Please keep calling today and next week. I did hear that Senator Vidak is against AB 1771 as well. =) It took me 5 to 10 min. to call. And please keep emailing too. They might vote on it next week but it has to be by August 31. Please keep contacting them, even if you already did. =) And please ask if SB 1432 could be taken out of Appropriations to be voted on. =) Thank you!!!
