Slight Change to the ACTION ALERT, as of 12:28pm, August 26 - I just talked to someone in Bob Huff's office. Bill AB 1771 is not in Education Committee anymore. It is in the Rules Committee now. So they told us to just contact Assemblymember Rendon, Assembly member O' Donnell, Assembly member Gonzalez and our Assembly member, who would be Assembly member Ling Ling Chang. The staff worker said that it might be voted on next week. I also included Assembly member Frank Bigelow as he is the vice chair of the Appropriations Committee. If Assembly woman Ling Ling Chang is not your representatives, you will have to call your local district Assembly Member.
