This is a poem I have written, using it to generate my views on where we are heading to and whatever we are doing is not enough, the indications are already started to show and it will be very late if we do not rise up now, not only me as a human but  every one should be responsible for the climate change and the degrading environment, we are the one who have to correct it as the danger now looms large, the developed nations are to take actions since they have the power and the money..

 

 

Let Me Sell You Rainbows

 

The natural fauna not seen as it was before,

The danger looms as the tectonic plates move,

Nothing is heard to save the world is heard

The Developed Nations imposing laws on Developing Countries is heard,

The rich and the powerful never take measures to curb, unheard

In the years to come when it is too late

Let me Sell You Rainbows is all that will be heard.

Glaciers melt unheard, Forests vanished unheard,

Land submerges unheard, Animals disappear unheard,

Pollution increases unheard, the year passes by.

Tsunamis, cyclones, Floods and Droughts, heard,

The coming generations have nothing for them, unheard.

Somewhere cabinet holds meeting inside the sea,

Sometime on the Everest or even on the deserts to make them heard,

Nations join hands on August or December,

To control emissions and carbon levels,

Countries put commitments on the paper as before, unheard,

As the years come when it is too late

Let Me Sell You Rainbows is all that will be heard.

Millions are spent on formation of government, millions on war,

Protests across the world and to stop the climate change always heard,

Animals endangered that were plentiful is unheard,

Tribes vanishing who were the guardians of our lives unheard,

Human race has destroyed everything that was there as boon,

Man as he creates challenges the Almighty is heard,

As the time comes when it is too late

Let Me Sell You Rainbows is all that will be heard..
