The owners of the San Antonio Aquarium have an appalling track record when it comes to animal welfare. They have been investigated in Oregon for the deaths of 200 marine mammals and convicted of illegally shipping marine mammals. The facility operates under the guise of being educational however the living conditions of the animals is sub par. There is over crowding and small habitats. The Oregon Humane Society alleged mistreatment of animals in their care ranging from starvation to animal on animal attacks. They need to be held accountable for the animals in their care.
