As of the 21st July only 32 consultation responses have been given to the Lancashire County Council by Whalley Library Users. This is despite over 2000 signatures of support being received stop the proposed closer of Whalley Library and Spring Wood Children’s Centre. The e-Petition will be submitted by the end of July. We need you to communicate your thoughts during the Property Strategy Consultation by Lancashire County Council, that is ongoing, is to complete their online survey. Go to the web address below, Select the Ribble Valley from the list, then select (164) Whalley Library. Please fill in the forms indicating what impact closing the library and children's centre will have on you and your family. The more people who do this, the bigger voice we have with the county.
