A public meeting is being held at the Old Whalley Grammar School, in the main hall on Thursday 21st July at 7pm. This will be the first public meeting regards the library, where the latest news about the campaign to save the library will be shared and views aired by the community can be given. We are still under the consultation period being conducted by the Lancashire County Council. Data has been shared by the county council about the cost of providing the service from the premises in Whalley. Please attend the meeting the show your support to save the library. The best way to communicate your thoughts during the Property Strategy Consultation by Lancashire County Council, that is ongoing, is to complete their online survey. Select the Ribble Valley from the list then select (164) Whalley Library. Please fill in the forms indicating what impact closing the library and children's centre will have on you and your family. The more people who do this, the bigger voice we have with the county. This can be found at https://goo.gl/hFZmfW.
