Good morning, everyone!

Still no word from the City of Lakewood or Public Safety Department on whether or not they will be installing a traffic signal or pedestrian warning device at the site of several tragedies at Bloomfield and Lemming.

I encourage everyone to still contact the city at cityclerk@lakewoodcity.org, citycouncil@lakewoodcity.org, and Public Safety Director Joshua Yordt at jyordt@lakewoodcity.org and put pressure on our local leaders to make change for the better in our community. If we still demand improvement, they can't ignore our calls for action any longer.

Also, a local organization, Lakewood Forward, has started a petition about district elections which will be coming to Lakewood soon. I hope everyone can spare a few minutes to read about it, support the cause, and share it with others.
