We believe that Women are equal to Men and the rules of Kent State Intramural sports should reflect that. Currently at Kent State if a female scores a goal it is worth two points compared to if a male scores it is worth one point. This sends the message that females are not as good at sports as males since they are given a handicap by awarding their goals an extra point. This is not socially just and goes against the equality and inclusiveness that Kent State prides itself on. We are asking the Kent State Intramural Program to correct this injustice by eliminating any rules that award uneven point values when different gendered players score
