Wearing face masks in public should be mandatory in Georgia!
The Issue
I believe Georgia should adopt the requirement of Mandatory facial masks be worn in public to block the transmission of COVID-19 at its source. Research shows even a cloth mask dramatically reduces the number of virus particles emitted from our mouths. This reduction provides 2 huge benefits. Fewer virus particles means less people are exposed to the infection, and if they are infected, the lower viral exposure may give them a better chance of a mild case rather than a severe case or possible death. Many have no awareness of the risk they pose to others, because they don't have any symptoms or mistake their symptoms for allergies or a cold. This is a Pandemic that keeps raging on, thousands of people are dying everyday. It's not about our person sense of freedom, because "your freedom stops where my nose begins". We are NOT helpless against this disease if we take the necessary precautions NOW. We are in this together!
