Sally Roettger Harrell is an American politician from Georgia, affiliated with the Democratic Party. She has been serving as a member of the Georgia State Senate since 2019, representing District 40. Prior to her tenure in the Senate, Harrell was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, serving from 1999 to 2005, representing District 62. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Georgia State University and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. In addition to her legislative roles, she has worked as a social worker and served as the Executive Director at Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia.
