We, the citizens of Georgia, feel that Governor Kemp is failing to perform his duties as Governor during this state of emergency.  

On Wednesday Governor Kemp announced that he had just found out victims of  COVID-19 can be asymptomatic while being positive and carriers of the virus.  This statement of his own accord proves that he is failing to make himself aware and educated about the virus because the rest of America was made aware of this in January.   Furthermore we are reminded of this daily during the Presidents briefings, as well as by the media.   This is the reason we have been practicing social distancing.  

On Wednesday, Governor Kemp ordered a Shelter in Place, after most other states in the US had already done so.  Even though the rate of COVID-19 is spiraling out of control and children have been out of school for weeks, our Governor refused to take any actions.

Two days after announcing that Georgia was going to enforce Shelter in Place, Governor Kemp contradicted his own order by opening state parks, resorts, campgrounds and beaches.   We believe this proves Governor Kemp is unable to make and carry out the decisions required by the person serving as Governor of Georgia, to ensure protection of the citizens of Georgia.    Therefore, we request that an emergency session be called immediately for the purpose of the impeachment of Governor Brian Kemp.
