Gloria Butler is a dedicated public servant with a strong background in business administration and legislative affairs. She holds an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Perimeter College. Her extensive career includes serving as a Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney, and as a Deputy Whip and Special Finance Officer at the Georgia Democratic Caucus. Butler also directed the Get Out the Vote Campaign for Congresswoman McKinney. Her commitment to public service is reflected in her roles with AmeriCorps, the Georgia Workforce Investment Board, and the U.S. Information Agency's Speaker Program. Currently, Gloria Butler represents District 55 in the Georgia State Senate, leveraging her fiscal expertise gained from her time as a Fiscal Accounting Assistant at Emory University's Health Sciences Center Library.
