In times where Covid is endemic and remains an active threat to health and livelihoods, we the undersigned, as citizens who work and live in the area,  attach great value to  the opportunity to take refreshment in a peaceful garden space such as that at Brunchies, and wish to express our grave concern at the approach of the Council.  Ordering the garden to close whilst there is a planning appeal in progress is heavy handed and unfair in that it removes a facility we value and jeopardises the continuance of this established local business when they previously granted temporary use for that reason during covid.
