However, the Labour-controlled council is proposing to convert the holy site of the Peterborough Hindu Temple into a mosque. While we deeply respect all faiths and the need for diverse worship spaces, this decision would erase decades of rich history and cultural significance for us and our future generations. In a city that prides itself on multiculturalism and inclusivity, there must be room for every community to have their space for prayer and celebration.
