After months of worthless bickering, the government has gotten nowhere. If, by the end of today, the democrats don't provide for the concessions that the republicans are asking for, the federal government will shut down entirely. A side effect of the shut down is that ALL federal employees under the military will have their paychecks halted until Congress decides to quit with the childish nonsense and actually get some work done.

If they can't get their own business done, at least tell them to keep the military workers paid! They represent tens of thousands of Americans, and the large majority of them have college to pay for, both for themselves AND their children. Not only that, they have monthly payments that have to be met and bills that have to be taken care of. Families are going to suffer and the nation can only be harmed. Tell Congress not to suspend these paychecks upon which so many livelihoods depend! We need this done by tonight!
