I'll never forget the day of October 19th, 2021. Legends of Runeterra decided to nerf Draven, from 3 health to 2.

Draven is my hero. Whenever I was feeling down, Draven would always hit me with "the party has A-rrived". And that it did. Until one day, the start of Patch 2.18. After this, everything had changed. He couldn't block almost any 1 drop. "The Glorious Executioner" was now getting executed by a mystic shot? It couldn't be. He wasn't himself. I stopped playing him cause even though I'd never stop loving him, I knew he couldn't stand me seeing him day after day in such a grotesque state. 

Shortly after, the nightmares began. At least 4 nights a week I would wake up in a cold sweat. I would start shaking whenever my friends or family would say common everyday phrases like "time for the main event", "you earned a ticket to the battle royal", or "tsk tsk Pony want a carrot?". Eventually I had to admit I had a serious problem and I was convinced to go to therapy.

To my surprise, I started to heal. I accepted that Draven would never be what he once was, and sometimes great injustices happen and we can't do anything to change it. All I could do was remember the great times we had and appreciate that good things must come to an end. And that was enough. Or at least I thought it was...

This morning I logged onto Legends of Runeterra, I go to Draven to do my daily scroll through his skins and whatnot. That's when I saw it. I thought I was imagining it like all the other times in the past year, but no matter how many times I relogged I kept seeing it. I sent it to others (anonymously so as not to worry my family again), but they saw it too. I got so excited. I KNEW Riot would realize their mistake and return Draven to the great being he was destined to be and enabling so many great archetypes. I immediately started playing Draven. Draven Jinx discard, Draven Sion, even Draven Fizz. Everything was perfect again.

Then @PlayRuneterra issued a tweet. They had "accidentally" buffed Draven to 3/3, and no more than a day later would he be tragically gutted once more. I sobbed. Please, I am writing this in desperation.  I can't go back to this pitiful state of balance. My only hope left in this world is that someone who has the power to keep him a 3/3 sees this, and does what's right.
