Catherine Margaret Birnie and David John Birnie were an Australian couple from Perth, Western Australia.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In 1986 over a period of five weeks, the Birnies abducted five women, aged between 15 and 31. All of the victims, except for one, were raped and murdered. The sole exception was their final victim, who escaped the day after her abduction and led police to the Birnie house, thus ending their crime spree.

 

 

 

They both were sentenced to life.

 

 

 

David Birnie committed suicide in 2005 by hanging.

Catherine Birnie wants her second chance at life to be apart of our community. 

 

 

 

Do you really think she deserves that? After all she did, she spat on their graves. Catherine has shown no remorse the whole time she's been away.

 

 

 

I don't think she deserves to live the rest of her life free.
