We come to you as humble servants asking for your love, mercy and compassion.

Our parish is so deeply blessed to have a spiritual father such as Abouna Assaad.  He is a tireless worker and focuses every single day on the salvation of every single one of our souls.  He has done amazing things at this parish from the numerous construction projects over the years, the big parish remodel, growing the faith community to include our Spanish speakers and touching countless lives over the years.   Abouna Assaad does so much behind the scenes here from the daily clerical work, to hearing our confessions, leading our children through the mysteries and so much more.

We are in danger of losing him in just a few short months.  It has come to our attention that you have decided that he is no longer needed at Our Lady of Lebanon here in Lewisville.  It is underestimated how much work he puts in to keep this parish together and continuing on a growth path of leading more souls to Christ.

We are begging you, Your Excellency, to let him finish out his time here and enjoy the fruits of his many years of labor.  There is more work to be done and Abouna Assaad continues to serve us tirelessly.

Your Excellency, with all due respect, we cry out to you and beg you as your loving and faithful servants, to leave Abouna Assaad for the last few years to finish out his mission.  Your faithful yearn for clear and decisive leadership with this is an opportunity to exercise mercy and show the true example of Christ.  May God bless you and keep you.

Acudimos a usted como humildes siervos pidiendo su amor, misericordia y compasión.

Nuestra parroquia está profundamente bendecida por tener un padre espiritual como Abouna Assaad. Es un trabajador incansable y se enfoca cada día en la salvación de cada una de nuestras almas. Ha realizado cosas asombrosas en esta parroquia, desde los numerosos proyectos de construcción a lo largo de los años, la gran remodelación de la parroquia, el crecimiento de la comunidad de fe para incluir a nuestros hispanohablantes y el haber tocado innumerables vidas a lo largo de los años. Abouna Assaad hace tanto detrás de escena aquí, desde el trabajo clerical diario, hasta escuchar nuestras confesiones, guiar a nuestros niños a través de los misterios y mucho más.

Estamos en peligro de perderlo en solo unos pocos meses. Hemos sabido que usted ha decidido que ya no es necesario en Nuestra Señora del Líbano aquí en Lewisville, TX. Se subestima cuánto trabajo invierte para mantener unida esta parroquia y continuar en un camino de crecimiento que lleve más almas a Cristo.

Su Excelencia, que le permita terminar su tiempo aquí y disfrutar los frutos de sus muchos años de labor. Aún hay más trabajo por hacer y Abouna Assaad continúa sirviéndonos incansablemente.

Su Excelencia, con todo el debido respeto, clamamos a usted y le rogamos como sus siervos amorosos y fieles, que deje a Abouna Assaad por los últimos años para completar su misión. Sus fieles anhelan un liderazgo claro y decisivo; esta es una oportunidad para ejercer misericordia y mostrar el verdadero ejemplo de Cristo. Que Dios lo bendiga y lo guarde.

نأتي إليكم كخدام متواضعين نطلب محبتكم ورحمتكم وشفقتكم. رعيتنا مباركة جدًا بأب روحي مثل أبونا أسعد. هو عامل لا يكلّ ويركّز كل يوم على خلاص كل نفس من نفوسنا. عمل أشياء مذهلة في هذه الرعية من مشاريع البناء العديدة على مر السنين، التجديد الكبير للرعية، نموّ الجماعة الإيمانية لتشمل المتحدثين بالإسبانية، ولمس حياة لا تُحصى على مر السنين. أبونا أسعد يعمل الكثير خلف الكواليس هنا، من الأعمال الإكليريكية اليومية، إلى سماع اعترافاتنا، قيادة أطفالنا عبر الأسرار، وأكثر بكثير.

نحن في خطر فقدانه في غضون أشهر قليلة فقط. علمنا أنكم قررتم أنه لم يعد مطلوبًا في سيدة لبنان هنا في لويسفيل. يُقلّل من تقدير كمّ العمل الذي يبذله للحفاظ على هذه الرعية متماسكة ومستمرة على طريق النموّ في قيادة المزيد من النفوس إلى المسيح.

نتوسل إليكم، يا صاحب السيادة، أن تدعوه يكمل وقته هنا ويستمتع بثمار سنوات عمله الطويلة. لا يزال هناك عمل أكثر يجب إنجازه، وأبونا أسعد يستمر في خدمته لنا بلا كلل.

يا صاحب السيادة، بكل احترام، نصرخ إليكم ونتوسل إليكم كخدامكم المحبين والأمناء، أن تتركوا أبونا أسعد للسنوات القليلة الأخيرة ليكمل رسالته. شعبكم الأمين يشتاق إلى قيادة واضحة وحاسمة، وهذه فرصة لممارسة الرحمة وإظهار المثال الحقيقي للمسيح. بارككم الله وحفظكم.
