1509 Petition signatures handed to the Leader of Tamworth Borough Council

On Saturday 8th August, I handed the petition, 1509 signatures to Carol Dean,  Leader pf Tamoworth Borough Council.   There were 813 people who signed in person and now more than 696 signed online. This shows how many residents and local businesses rely on a physical Post Office in the town centre. 

I’ve updated the Post Office Ltd, the CEO of Tamworth Borough Council, and  Tamworth MP Sarah Edwards, who is supporting a replacement town centre Post Office.

I’ll share further developments as they unfold. People can continue to sign online or in person on market days at Gayton's bakery stall.
