Family and Friends,
I hope my words find you well. I need your help getting my story out there.
On October 12th 2019, I went to pick my 4 year old daughter. My child’s mother and I had a disagreement and I left her residence with my daughter. A falsified 911 call was made, saying I was carrying a gun and a knife and that I kidnapped a little girl. As I was driving away an officer made a U-turn and blocked the road. I was directed to step out of the vehicle. I asked the officer if I could call my sister’s to come get my daughter, so she would not be scared or see me handcuffed. The officer said that it was "OK" to call her. Multiple police officers continued to arrive. My sister’s arrived as well and the road was blocked off. They put one of my sisters in a cop car and drove her around in circles for what seemed forever. After an hour of them not letting her come to where we were, I exited the vehicle with my daughter and put her down. I was then shot by rubber bullets, bit by the K-9 and then shot with a taser. All while my daughter was present.
New Castle County Police used extreme, excessive force to take me into custody. They vandalized my vehicle as well. I did not have a gun or a knife. I had to go to the hospital before I was taken to processing. Staff at Christiana Hospital, said that they have never seen officers use all three methods on one person. I still have a hole in my leg from the dog bite. I was then taken to Gander Hill in lieu if 100 thousand dollars cash bail. I was never questioned or read my miranda rights. I was charged with kidnapping and burglary. The courts have yet to give me my due process way before Covid-19 shut the state down. This was a domestic dispute that turned in to a superior court case, because of a completely fabricated story. It has been one sided since the beginning. I feel as though my case has been flagged. Delaware prosecutors are completely going off of hearsay and lies. We are trying to get the states attention. This case is not being handled properly. The charges are stacked and the bail is on the highest tier. This is everything Delaware's Attorney General is saying she is against. I should not have to plead guilty to things I did not do. I have been incarcerated for over 8 months and I have not even had a case review. I am also being exposed to Covid19 in the jail and I suffer from asthma.
For those who know me, know my heart. I love my daughter, I would never put her in harm's way. I also have 3 other children that need me. Before all this, we were always together, joined at the hip. We just attended Sunday service the week before. The courts are also using my past as bias in this case. I have been out of trouble for over 10 years. My past should not hold any weight in this case. I was working full time and working in the community. I was also interviewing for position's to better my career the time. I am trained in case management and work with a Stop and Surrender men's rehabilitation center in Philadelphia. I was attending my final semester at The Community College of Philadelphia. I was set to graduate with an Associate's Degree in Behavioral Health in May of 2020. I volunteer on a regular basis feeding the homeless and mentoring youth. I was on the right path, taking care of my family. I need to come home.
Please pass this on, my side of the story needs to be heard!

Thank you for your support.
