This petition is to garner support to dedicate the Lacrosse Box at Clarkson Park as a Memorial for Karl Steip 

Karl was born and raised a few blocks from the lacrosse box . He played , coached and volunteered with Lacrosse clubs in Clarkson and in Oakville 

There was a time when Karl was the only person who cared for the box . When everyone else was too busy and willing  to let it crumble. It was Karl,that swept up the broken glass , patched the board and strung the nets . So others could use and enjoy the box 

We lost Karl far too early to Cancer . I hope that you will join me in preserving his legacy and that of all other volunteers in the lax community by adding your name to this petition to be presented to the city of Mississauga for the naming dedication
