The pandemic has exposed extreme inequality - especially regarding vaccine distribution. Many countries have less than 20% of their population unvaccinated.

Not only is this completely and utterly unfair, it is also dangerous - as new variants will develop in countries where the population do not have access to vaccines. And these variants will cross borders as they have in the past. 

By donating your booster shot, you can help individuals in developing countries who do not have access to vaccines - and at the same time help put an end to the pandemic worldwide.

If you are already double vaccinated and have no other compromising health conditions, the Omicron variant is typically no worse than a common cold.

We need to stop the development of variants in other parts of the world in order to put an end to this pandemic. Tell your politicians by signing this petition that you are prepared to forgo - or at least wait for a later date to receive your booster. And that you want your booster shot donated to the Covax organization to distribute to countries in greater need. Covax is run by a number of international organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN children's charity, Unicef.
