Our journey for justice remains strong. On April 18, 2024 in the Preliminary Hearing at the Beaver County, PA Courthouse, David Lunden Askew III, who bludgeoned Maize, was formally charged with the following criminal charges:  

1. 18 § 5534 §§ A2 F3 Aggravated Cruelty to Animals - Causing SBI or Death  

2. 18 § 907 §§ A M1 Poss Instrument Of Crime W/Int

3. 18 § 908 §§ A M1 Make Repairs/Sell/Etc Offens Weap 

4. 18 § 5533 §§ A M2 Cruelty to Animals

The next court date for Formal Arraignment is May 29, 2024, and we will post updates accordingly.

Mr. Askew, whose criminal history includes murder, remains free on $100,000 cash bail.
