Hi everyone, I am writing this with tears of relief and a heavy heart. After two incredibly long, grueling years of fighting for justice, we finally have a major breakthrough. The individual who brutally attacked my sweet girl when she was only 9 months old—chopping off her ear with an axe—has officially pleaded guilty to all charges. 

Guilty Plea Special Plea Court 01/12/2026 Final Disposition: 1 / Aggravated Cruelty to Animals - Causing SBI or Death Guilty Plea F3 18 § 5534 §§

 A2 2 / Poss Instrument Of Crime W/Int Proceed to Court M1 18 § 907 §§

A 3 / Make Repairs/Sell/Etc Offens Weap Proceed to Court M1 18 § 908 §§

A 4 / Cruelty to Animals Proceed to Court M2 18 § 5533 §§ A His sentencing date is 2/25/26 at 11 AM at the Beaver County Courthouse: Beaver Pa, 15009.

 It has taken two years of court dates, delays, and reliving that horrific day to get to this plea hearing and sentencing date. This incident didn't just change my dog’s physical appearance; it forever changed both of our lives. Watching her navigate the world with one ear is a daily reminder of the trauma she endured, and tears me apart emotionally. However, seeing her resilience is what keeps me going. While nothing can truly erase the pain of the past two years, knowing there is accountability feels like the first real step toward healing.

Currently, we are in need at the moment with funds for Maize's care. We are in Pa. and it has been a brutal winter. I don't have a car at this time and I am having to pay for rides; which has taken its toll. It's been 2 years and we are hoping to get funds back from all of Maize's medical bills and care that has set my finances back during this time.
