Hi Everyone:
First of all Thank You all for your support and your love for Maize. Your supportive comments have kept me going many nights just thinking about the attack on Maize and I. You are appreciated!
My beautiful puppy Maize now 10.5 months old is without one ear and faces other possible medical issues down the road throughout her life due to David Lunden Askew III of Aliquippa, Pa. 15001. He is out walking around on a 100K cash bail. When I say walking; he should not be driving because his license was revoked in Alleghany County, Pa at the end of March due to a DUI.
Yes this is the same convicted murdered who served time for killing a man, then now axed Maize for no reason at all! What reason could justify axing a puppy who was on a leech and was not trying to attack you? What he did to Maize was a vicious, hateful, crime and he needs to be locked up/jailed and ordered to pay for all pain and suffering along with doctor bills, and all of Maize future care for the rest of her life.
The trauma I have suffered; emotionally you all know is unimaginable. We must fight for Justice4Maize so that this man and no one else can do this random act of hate on a puppy and owner out for a daily walk.
Maize and I ( we are) the nations case that will lead to tougher dog laws in Pennsylvania and other states.
The 1st preliminary hearing was continued; this will be our 2nd attempt to face this criminal since the incident with Maize on 2/21/24.
The 2nd preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 18th, 2024 at 10:00 AM Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver PA.
