Justice for the Cobb-Edwards T206 Honus Wagner Authenticity Battle

The Issue

Dear Supporters of Truth and Justice,

I am Ray Edwards, the co-owner of the Cobb-Edwards T206 Honus Wagner baseball card, and for over two decades, my cousin John Cobb and I have been waging a relentless battle against the Sports Memorabilia World to prove the authenticity of our rare T206 Honus Wagner card.

Our journey has been marked by unwavering determination, countless hours of research, and the unwavering belief in our card's legitimacy. We have gathered support from world-renowned experts, including paper fiber forensic expert Walter Rantanen, printing expert Arnie Schwed, Forensic Document Examiner Johanne Bergeron, Senior Appraiser Bob Connelly, and myself, Ray Edwards, pouring our hearts and souls into this pursuit.

Despite our compelling evidence, we have faced an uphill battle. Our struggle has been marred by racism, discrimination, and blacklisting in the Sports Memorabilia industry due to our skin color. This injustice has been a painful and discouraging aspect of our quest for authenticity.

Now, we need your help to continue our fight for justice. We are raising funds for legal fees to challenge the injustices that have plagued us for years. Additionally, we aim to create a full-length documentary that will not only shed light on the Cobb-Edwards T206 Honus Wagner card but also tell our entire story – a tale that includes the elements of a blockbuster movie.

Our story is one of resilience, hope, and the pursuit of truth. It is about overcoming adversity and exposing corruption within the Sports Memorabilia industry. The Cobb-Edwards T206 Honus Wagner card has been featured on prominent platforms like HBO's Real Sports, ESPN's Outside the Lines, CNBC, Sports Illustrated, ESPN magazine, T206 Honus Wagner Wikipedia, and has received national and international coverage.

This card is not just about its historical significance; it represents our unwavering commitment to justice. It is the only piece of sports memorabilia that has been forensically authenticated by renowned experts, and we firmly believe it should be recognized as such.

Last year, on December 14, 2022, we lost my cousin John Cobb. His passing has further ignited our commitment to seeking justice in his honor and preserving his legacy.

We cannot ignore the role of major networks in perpetuating falsehoods. In 2013, CNBC's "Treasure Detective Show" featured my card and falsely claimed it was fake. We have concrete evidence of this deception, as the show's producer, Steve Hoffman, confirmed in an email sent back in 2013. This revelation will be detailed on our website.

One central figure in our struggle is PSA Authentication & Grading Services, the foremost grading house in the sports memorabilia world. Under the leadership of Joe Orlando, PSA has consistently undermined our efforts. Joe Orlando has publicly questioned the authenticity of the Cobb-Edwards T206 Honus Wagner card since 2002, displaying unprofessionalism throughout.

We call upon PSA to acknowledge the forensic testing and sandwich test results for the Cobb-Edwards T206 Honus Wagner card. PSA has accepted examinations and restoration work from third-party companies but continues to deny our well-founded findings. This blatant bias, discrimination, and blacklisting must be addressed.

The sports memorabilia industry is tainted with corruption, and our fight for justice is ongoing. Your donation will not only contribute to our battle but also to the larger cause of bringing integrity back to this industry.

We have compiled concrete evidence, videos, and extensive research to support our claims, all of which will be available on YouTube COMING SOON.

The Sports Memorabilia industry desperately needs reform, and with your support, we can be the catalysts for change. Your donation will help us continue this fight for authenticity, fairness, and justice in an industry that has long been tainted by corruption.
