Justice for Seniors: Hold Global Kingdom Ministries Church Accountable for Trinity Ravine Community Scam

The Issue

We, the concerned citizens of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, demand justice and accountability from Global Kingdom Ministries Church regarding their deceitful actions in the failed Trinity Ravine Community condo project. It is imperative that we come together to ensure that our seniors are not left empty-handed after being taken advantage of by this church.

The facts surrounding this case are deeply troubling. Global Kingdom Ministries Church promised our seniors that their hard-earned money would be held in trust for the construction of Trinity Ravine Community. However, instead of fulfilling their commitment, they resorted to legal loopholes and unethical practices to evade responsibility.

1. Misuse of Deposits: The church falsely claimed that all deposits would be held in trust until the completion of the project. Instead, they mismanaged these funds for purposes that are vague and unclear (there hasn't been a forensic audit, yet), without any regard for the financial security of our seniors.

2. Splitting Land into Two Entities: To further deceive investors and avoid accountability, Global Kingdom Ministries Church divided the land intended for Trinity Ravine Community into two separate entities and subsequently sold them off. This deliberate act demonstrates a clear intention to defraud unsuspecting seniors who trusted this institution.

3. Bankruptcy Maneuver: By intentionally bankrupting "Trinity Ravine Community," Global Kingdom Ministries Church has effectively shielded themselves from any legal obligations towards refunding our seniors' investments. This calculated move leaves vulnerable individuals without any recourse or means to recover their life savings. To date, the bankruptcy proceedings have 8 cents to the dollar for a return. Senior's deposits ranged from $60,000-$100,000+.

292 depositors are still owed a total of ~$30 million dollars.

It is crucial that we hold Global Kingdom Ministries Church accountable for their actions and demand restitution on behalf of those affected by this scam:

1. Full Refund: We urge authorities to compel Global Kingdom Ministries Church to repay every cent owed to each senior who invested in Trinity Ravine Community based on false promises made by the church.

2. Legal Consequences: We call upon the legal system to thoroughly investigate this case and hold all responsible parties accountable for their deceitful actions. No one should be above the law, especially when it comes to exploiting vulnerable members of our community.

3. Strengthen Consumer Protection Laws: We demand that our government takes immediate action to strengthen consumer protection laws, ensuring that such scams are prevented in the future and providing better safeguards for our seniors' financial well-being.

We believe in justice, fairness, and protecting the rights of our seniors who have been taken advantage of by Global Kingdom Ministries Church. Sign this petition today to show your support for holding them accountable and seeking restitution for those affected by their fraudulent practices.

Together, we can make a difference and ensure that no institution or organization escapes responsibility when they harm our community's most vulnerable members. Stand with us in demanding justice for the victims of Trinity Ravine Community scam!
