The Issue

On New Year's Day, my family was shattered by a tragedy outside their home in Harpursville, NY. My baby cousin, Brennan Loveles, was killed, vehicular manslaughter, By someone who once was taken in when in need given food and shelter, was given safety, security, and peace inside Brennans home. The home where he ran Brennan over dragged him and left him to die.

Just 13  years old, Brennan was doing what he loved most, riding his brand new bike, a gift he had just received for Christmas. That joy was suddenly stripped away when Bradley Law struck Brennan with his truck, dragging him and his bike for hundreds of feet. Brennan's life ended right outside his home, a place that was a haven for him, now turned into a site of immeasurable grief.

The loss of Brennan wasn’t just a personal tragedy; it left a void in our community, one that cannot be filled. His family, his friends, and everyone who knew him must live with the scars of that night. Brennan was a son, a brother, and a cherished friend whose life was unjustly cut short. The image of his final moments—alone in the dark, in the cold—serves as a constant reminder of what was taken from us.

Bradley Law now seeks parole, a proposition that would inflict further pain upon our family and neighbors in Harpursville. Granting him parole undermines the gravity of his actions and the irreparable harm caused to our family and community. We believe that allowing parole would not serve justice or honor Brennan's memory.

We urge the parole board to uphold the original sentence and deny Bradley Law's parole. Let us ensure that Brennan’s tragic story is a call for accountability and justice. Please join us in preserving Brennan’s memory by signing this petition. Deny parole for Bradley Law and ensure that our community’s safety and the memory of our loved ones are respected.
