Justice for 60 Animals Found Starving and Dead in Oklahoma Cruelty Case

Justice for 60 Animals Found Starving and Dead in Oklahoma Cruelty Case
The Issue
No animal should suffer like this.
In Washington County, Oklahoma, deputies found dozens of dogs living in filth, starving, covered in fleas, and locked in cages without food or water. Some were so malnourished their bones were visible. Others were lying in feces with matted fur and infected skin. Two dead cats were found outside, and five more were discovered stuffed in a freezer.
This was not an accident. This was cruelty.
The woman responsible is facing 60 counts of animal cruelty. But charges alone are not enough. These animals deserve justice, and the shelters now caring for them deserve urgent support. Over 25 dogs and 5 cats were rescued, many needing emergency treatment for anemia, parasites, and severe neglect.
Local rescues like Skiatook Paws & Claws and the Oklahoma Alliance for Animals are stepping up, but they cannot do it alone. Their staff are overwhelmed, and their resources are stretched thin.
We are calling on the Washington County District Attorney to fully prosecute this case and ensure the maximum penalties are applied. We also urge the county and state to provide emergency aid to the shelters working around the clock to save these animals.
These dogs and cats have endured enough. They need medical care, safety, and a chance at a new life. And the person who let them suffer must be held fully accountable.
Sign this petition to stand up for the voiceless animals at the heart of this heartbreaking case. They deserve better.
