A portion of Ozerna Park (Ozerna Road and 158 Ave) has been allocated as a surplus school building site. The site has not been listed for sale, however, preliminary surveying and soil testing has begun. The City of Edmonton is preparing to review proposals for potential construction projects on the site.

Many residents in the area are opposed to the construction of a school or any large structure on Ozerna Park, because it would result in increased traffic, decreased safety, disruption of peace, and reduced land for community use.

Signing this petition will send a message to our Ward 3 Councilor Jon Dziadyk, Mayor Don Iveson, and Edmonton City Council that we as a community want to preserve Ozerna Park and are against the construction of any large structure on the land.
