We are proud Somalilander’s, deeply connected to our homeland and its people. Despite these trials, we have remained steadfast in our pursuit of prosperity and rightful recognition.

 Since 1991, Somaliland has autonomously governed itself following a 30-year conflict and has reinstated its sovereignty with no influence outside of the Somaliland government. Prior to 1961, it existed as an independent nation distinct from Somalia.

Despite Somalia's awareness of these historical facts, it hesitates to engage in international legal avenues. Sign this petition today and support the only peaceful Somali nation.

This lack of recognition hampers our ability to engage in international trade, secure aid and investment necessary for development.
