John Oliver Secondary School class of 2020 is asking for support from our community in hopes of having the graduation ceremony that we deserve while still practicing social distancing. The grads of 2020 have been deprived of their shining moment and have the right to feel proud of their accomplishments and success. The students and parents deserve to be able to have the day they have been looking forward to for the last 12 years. We can achieve this by having our graduation outside instead of a celebratory hall. We can all be spaced out 6 feet apart from each other and limit the amount of spectators allowed to watch. We have seen successful ceremonies done by this method in many parts of the world and we believe with your support we can all come together as a community to achieve our goal.
