As a Braves fan, I have been consistently asked if I will continue to be a fan since the owner is making donations to Trump. At this time, I will, but I will also push for the owner and organization to do what's right.

For decades, the Atlanta Braves were known as "America's Team" due to their long-standing national exposure on TBS. Even after the sale of the team by Ted Turner, the Braves have long-enjoyed a fan-base that at the very least is representative of a large portion of the South Eastern US.

The SE has for far too long been home to racial beliefs and inequities, and Donald Trump upholds these. But, change is coming. We, as Braves fans and believers in diversity and inclusion for all regardless of race, nationality, religion, gender or sexual orientation, are raising our voices in opposition to the actions taken by John Malone, and Liberty Media in support of Donald Trump and his divisive views.

John Malone and Liberty Media were among the biggest contributors to the Trump campaign when they donated a collective $1 million to his inauguration festivities in 2017. Various offshoots and other representatives of Liberty Media Corp, like Greg Maffei, also made monetary contributions of $250,000+. (https://www.forbes.com/profile/john-malone/#336fbc0a1505

We are demanding the following:
- For John Malone and Liberty Media to issue an apology and statement showing support to the diverse fanbase of the Atlanta Braves
- For John Malone and Libert Media to disclose any other political contributions made to Donald Trump, the Trump Campaign or any other affiliated persons or entities
- For John Malone and Liberty Media to no longer make donations to Donald Trump, the Trump Campaign or any other affiliated persons or entities
- For John Malone and Liberty Media to donate the equivalent of their above-mentioned donations to organizations fighting for the end to system racism and/or other organizations fighting for rights of minority groups.
- If John Malone and Liberty Media cannot meet these requests, for them to sell the Atlanta Braves to a corporation that will stand up the team's diverse fanbase and support political affiliations and non-profit organizations who do so.
