LOCATION OF MEETING: D Street Neighborhood Center 1301 D Street, Arcata, California On February 21st, 2018 the Arcata City Council voted 4-1 to remove the statue of William McKinley. The next step in the process is for the city to hold a scoping meeting to initiate the Environmental Impact Report. At this meeting, the City of Arcata Community Development Department will present a project summary, discuss project alternatives and consider recommendations made by community members. As with all meetings related to this issue, we continue to need community members to show up and speak out.
