it's been 2 years. I don't see any changes being made! Every other school with a "leaky" roof was closed this morning, but at JL the school board put every ones safety at risk. Teachers had masks on, ceiling tiles falling, asbestos, water damage and more! This was much more than a leaky roof! The 3rd floor was unusable and so was our library. We all just want a safe environment so that we can get a proper education, Is that too much to ask for? The school board isn't doing enough, they have passed it off as just being a leaky roof when it is in fact much worse than that. There was another petition made on this site dated 2 years ago, nothing has changed. Something needs to be done.

If we can get enough people to sign this petition we may see change happen! It's a may or may not situation here but all support is needed and appreciated by us students, our parents and the staff.

I also recommend making your phone calls and writing your emails to the Halifax Regional School Board as well in regards to concerns of safety etc. http://www.hrsb.ca/contact
