Due to the coronavirus pandemic happening all over the world including Singapore. James Cook University, Singapore has decided to make the whole of trimester SP51 100% online learning with all lectures and tutorials being conducted online. Students pay S$9,000-S$10,000 every semester for full campus face-to-face learning BUT since the learning has transitioned into e-learning the tuition fee should also be reduced. It is not fair to the students as online learning is definitely not the same as campus learning and students specifically pay this amount for the campus learning with face-to-face teaching.

Therefore, it would only be fair and right if the university refunded students with 40% of the paid tuition fee for SP51.
