This photo would have been taken just before the station was demolished in the 80's which was one of the most insane decisions ever made by the committees that run this town.

The rumour spread at the time, that it was "full of termites", but as it was constructed from Cypress pine, I find that hard to believe as termites don't attack Cypress pine.

If and when we get our passenger services back, it would be wonderful to see this pretty little station rebuilt - but this time on the other side of the rail tracks, where it would be handier to the present township.
