I came across the original list of station stops along the Tottenham Branch Line and was surprised to find there were actually 16 of them - three being old spur lines. This is a list of those stations:
* BOGAN GATE.
* BOTFIELD.
* TRUNDLE.
* THE TROFFS.
* KADUNGLE
* GOBONDERY
* TULLAMORE.
* YETHERA.
* MIDDLEFIELD.
* ALBERT.
* THE IRON DUKE MINE SPUR.
* MINEMOORONG.
* CAROLINE JUNCTION.
* THE CAROLINE MINE SPUR.
* TOTTENHAM.
* MOUNT ROYAL MINE SPUR.
Most of these stations ceased operation in 1974 and were replaced with a bus run to Parkes which operated three times a week. That run only lasted another ten years before it too was closed down. It wasn't until 2017 that Tottenham got access to public transport again in the form of a weekly bus run to Dubbo. However, the vehicle being used is far too small and cramped and not really suitable for use by fully grown adults on such long trips. This is why it is important to get decent, comfortable passenger transport back on the rails again.
