The Petition

To the AFP Commissioner, NSW Police Commissioner, ICAC Commissioner,

We are deeply concerned and extremely offended by the alleged behaviour of Snowy Monaro Councillor Lynda Summers. While there are numerous allegations of her bad behaviour, some appears to be criminal in nature - like the allegation she has published extremely offensive content through her X Account.  

We request you commence investigations as to whether charges should be brought under the Commonwealth Criminal Code, under the NSW Crimes Act or under the NSW ICAC Act. In the interim we request that she be stood down from council.

Background

Based on numerous public accounts Councillor Lynda Summers may be very bad news. Beyond the recent allegations of bullying and assault, earlier this year it was reported that this councillor had shared very offensive tweets. 

While we you may not like Donald Trump, we don't need a councillor representing us who thinks it is ever okay use the most offensive language or vilify people.  It is not what we are as a community.

We would never vote for someone I knew would behave like she is alleged to have done. Let's get the cops doing their job to get to the truth.  If she is guilty, she should not represent our lovely community and must go from council (at the very least).
