Investigate Residential Manage Group for Unjustified Service Charges
The Issue
I, alongside many fellow residents in numerous estates across the UK managed by Residential Management Group (RMG), have been burdened with escalating service charges and district heating bills, with no justification or due diligence provided. The increasing financial strain is crippling our ability to maintain our households, meet basic necessities, and even sell our properties. For instance, in just one year, I was charged nearly £10,000 by RMG. The horror of this situation is that this is not a standalone case. This is the reality for thousands of people living in properties managed by RMG, including those at the Barking Riverside estate, where the average service charge has been between £5,000 and £10,000 annually.
Unfortunately, transparency remains a foreign concept to RMG. Not once have they provided evidence of the meter readings or the tasks they claim to have completed for which we are being billed. What's worse, they have the audacity to attempt charging residents for providing this essential transparency.
This gross exploitation of homeowners and residents cannot continue. We demand an immediate investigation into Residential Manage Group's unjustified service charges and district heating bills. The homes we live in should not become debt traps. Please, sign this petition to require RMG to provide transparency and equitable services and shield us from further financial harm.
