For years, members of our community in Bray, County Wicklow, have voiced a strong desire to access our beautiful beaches and the therapeutic sea, just like everyone else. Regardless of physical ability or mobility, everyone deserves the joy of feeling the sand between their toes, and the refreshing ocean spray on their face. Approximately 13.5% of Ireland's population are disabled and many face barriers when attempting to enjoy some of our most beautiful public spaces (Central Statistics Office, Ireland).

The solution? The implementation of a beach wheelchair in Bray. Beach wheelchairs are specially designed to manoeuvre through the challenging terrains of beaches, and can provide those with mobility issues the freedom to experience the beach without difficulties.
