Willard Elementary school (Pasadena, CA) lacks accessible and inclusive playground equipment. Some children cannot use the playground due to their disability. 

Willard Elementary boasts 4 Special Day Class classrooms, which provide an adapted learning environment for moderately and severely disabled children. 

However, some students, including those who need a wheelchair, cannot enjoy the current playground at Willard. 

Willard Parents are asking Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) to install accessible & inclusive playground equipment at Willard Elementary by the end of 2022, or as soon as possible. Measure O funds can be used for this purchase. 

If PUSD grants our demand, Willard disabled children will enjoy their time at recess as much as their abled peers !
