When it comes to taking care of our loved ones or even us, we wouldn't trust someone related to criminals let along people with criminal records. So I ask why we should let them run our country's and make decisions for us and generations to come. Most of our families, if not us too are probably still going to stay in India. This is why it is all the more important for us to make sure that not just anyone with money or power has the ability to make life-changing and crucial decisions.

So many of our politicians even now have appalling criminal offenses. Even ones that have supposedly done a lot of good for our country. When it comes to an overall ratio or an overall count of how many of these "Criminal-Politicians" have done actual good for the country you won't be surprised to see that the numbers and terribly low. India recorded an increase of 44% in the number of MPs with declared criminal cases since 2019.
