I'm scared to live on the Central Coast. Recently, there has been an alarming increase in stabbing incidents, one of which occurred just last night leaving us unsure of the victim's survival. It's terrifying to think that our community, once considered a safe haven, is becoming perilous. I’ve even considered moving away and fear bringing children into this world under such conditions.

Our police resources seem to be misallocated. There are cops on bikes chasing e-bikers, while critical areas that demand increased vigilance remain unmonitored. Instead of focusing on minor infringements, I urge our local authorities to prioritize the safety of citizens by reallocating resources towards more frequent and visible street patrols.

The recent surge in violence on the Central Coast calls for urgent action. Without increased police presence on our streets, these violent incidents are likely to continue, leaving residents in fear for their safety. We need our police force to be proactive rather than reactive.
