I applied for the renewal of my driver's license over 2 months ago and till now I'm still yet to receive the original card. The federal road safety corps, a government agency in Nigeria, is responsible for the approval and issuance of drivers licenses. Unfortunately, their services have been subpar and reek of negligence and gross incompetence for the past 2 years.

During the license process, either for new or renewal, the printing of the cards should take a maximum of 2 months to get printed. But unfortunately there's a huge backlog of cards that are yet to be printed since last year. This inefficiency affects countless Nigerians who rely on timely issuance or renewal of their driver's licenses.
