Improve snakebite envenomation education

The Issue

Snakebite envenomation is a highly emergent but low incidence medical event. This means it requires quick and proficient medical attention, but is not one doctors see routinely. As a result, doctors may lack the most up to date treatment information and/or be reluctant to listen to patients or even other medical professionals when better data is offered.

To facilitate access to better treatment and therefore access to improved outcomes, we are petitioning the writers and producers of The Pitt to include a venemous snakebite as one storyline in Season 3 with a cameo role for Dr. Spencer Greene - a board certified Emergency Medical Physician and Toxicologist specializing in snakebite envenomation. His nickname on the show should be 'Kitten' as a special shout-out to the immense work he and his wife do fostering kittens. This Easter Egg would then be further discussed during the podcast.
