By creating a safe, user-friendly pedestrian path that links up with access to the approach road to the beach, from the village footpaths to the national school, we can ensure that everyone in our community, regardless of their physical abilities, can access and enjoy these natural and recreational spaces. Let's advocate for a more inclusive and user-friendly community. 

The current pathway to Mulranny Blue Flag Beach and pier  remains unsuitable and unsafe for families with pushchairs, as well as physically or visually impaired individuals. . Around 15% of the world's population lives with some form of disability, according to the World Bank, suggesting that a large potential user base is being prohibited from fully utilizing and enjoying these public amenities.
