The problem of garbage has been a long controversy, not only in our country but also around the world. Almost every day we cannot avoid seeing garbage scattered not only in the streets but sometimes it also happens in our homes.

People are suffering environmental dilemmas such as global warming, flash floods, and etc. and one of the causes of these problem is the misbehavior of the people towards waste management. Some people are careless to the environment by just in throwing their garbage everywhere they want. It is time for us to stop or at least lessen these problems and invest something that will help not only our environment but also for ourselves. Here in San Agustin, Iriga City Zone 4, we are encouraging the residents to do these practices.

We are petitioning that every private individual and the property owners should have trash bins or plastic trash bags that can be filled with biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste and they can also make a container just for used plastic bottles, for it to be recycled and turn it into something like pot for plants. Biodegradable wastes can also be collected and recycled to fertilize soils. Let's encourage everyone to do these to reduce the problem of wastes in our community, let's help mother nature for the sake of our future.

In order our petition to be successful, we are asking for the support of the Barangay Officials headed by Hon. Salvador P. Catimbang, and to the residents of Zone 4, San Agustin, Iriga City. Together, we can make change and make our community waste free and beautiful using recycled materials.
